We are pleased to share that one of our Year 11 pupils recently completed a one-day work experience placement at PINS Social Club in Liverpool.

During his day in the kitchen, he gained valuable hands-on experience supporting the team with pizza preparation. He had the opportunity to observe how a professional kitchen operates and was involved in preparing ingredients and helping to make pizzas. This gave him a real insight into the fast-paced nature of the hospitality industry.

A career in catering is something he is very interested in pursuing, and he thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The day confirmed for him that working in a kitchen environment is the path he would like to follow after Year 11.

We are incredibly proud of the maturity, enthusiasm and commitment he showed throughout the day. Opportunities like this are invaluable in helping our pupils make informed decisions about their futures, and we look forward to supporting him as he continues to work towards his goal of a career in the food industry.
