We are delighted to share the exciting development of our music provision at Vyner Campus, with the creation of our very own music studio.
The new studio has been kitted out with a range of instruments, giving pupils a fantastic space to explore music, be creative and develop their skills. This has been made possible thanks to a successful grant application to the Love Music Trust, which awarded the school £1,000 to spend on musical instruments.
A huge thank you goes to Mr Dickson and Mr Meenan for leading this project and for working carefully with pupils to select the instruments for the room. Their input has helped to make sure the space reflects the interests and needs of our pupils.
We are already looking forward to developing the studio even further. Plans include decorating the room and purchasing teaching software so that pupils can learn more independently and continue to build their confidence in music.
The room has already been put to great use. During the recent heatwave, air conditioning was added, and pupils enjoyed using the space for a jamming session, making the most of the new equipment in a cool and creative environment.
This is a fantastic step forward for music at Vyner Campus, and we are excited to see how pupils use the studio in the weeks and months ahead.
