Weekly Celebration Assembly: Recognising Student Achievements
This week’s celebration assemblies, presented by Mrs. McGlynn for Vyner and Mrs. O’Connor for Leasowe, highlighted the incredible efforts and achievements of our students across various subjects.
Vyner Highlights
???? Art Excellence: A big well done to Kieran, Bonnie, and Faith for their outstanding work in art! They created stunning Mythical Creatures by showcasing their exceptional colour blending and mixing skills. Keep up the great creativity!
???? Geography Stars: Thompson class delved into how plants and animals adapt to freezing temperatures. A special shoutout to Bobby, Callum, JJ, James, Fin, and Logan for their hard work and enthusiasm in exploring this topic.
???? STEM Countdown to the Competition: Excitement is building as we gear up for the STEM competition! A special mention to Kieran, Fin, Alex, Logan, and Jay for their dedication and teamwork. Well done!
???? Independent Writing Excellence: A huge congratulations to Seb, who independently read an article about the “stop and search” policy aimed at reducing knife crime. He then produced an insightful and thoughtful piece reflecting on the topic. Great job, Seb!
Leasowe Highlights
???? Science Enrichment: Isaac and Henry in Fletcher class shone in their science enrichment session, where they investigated forces using weights and strawberry laces. Fantastic work, both of you!
???? Artistic Talent: Mason displayed his incredible painting skills by creating a breathtaking sunflower. Well done, Mason! ????
???? Phonics Superstar: Harrison in Green Group worked exceptionally hard in phonics this week. He tackled the tricky i-e sound in words like “smile” with great persistence. Keep up the fantastic effort, Harrison! ????????
???? Chinese New Year Creativity: During our themed day, Sid, Jake, Ayva, and Connor M produced stunning Chinese calligraphy artwork. A wonderful way to celebrate the festival!
