WISSA Basketball League Round 2 – Strong Performances from The Observatory School

Round 2 of the WISSA School Basketball League delivered another exciting set of fixtures for The Observatory School, with pupils showcasing their growing confidence, teamwork, and determination across two competitive games.
Game 1: The Observatory 32 – Impact 2
The Observatory made an impressive start to the day with a dominant 32–2 victory over Impact. Ethan controlled the tempo superbly, leading the team with 9 assists and ensuring the offence flowed smoothly throughout. LJ was in excellent scoring form, finishing as top scorer with 12 points. The whole team demonstrated strong ball movement, clear communication, and composure from start to finish.
Game 2: The Observatory 21 – Claremount 28
The second game proved a much tougher challenge, with The Observatory battling hard in a closely contested match against Claremount. Jayden led the scoring with 10 points, showing confidence and determination at both ends of the court. Kieran made a significant impact with several important rebounds, helping to keep the team competitive throughout.
Across both fixtures, The Observatory School players showed outstanding effort, resilience, and a positive attitude. Their teamwork and improving skill levels continue to shine with each round of the WISSA League, making it a brilliant overall effort from the entire squad.
